President Donald Trump is determined to reverse many terrible policies from the previous administration that are filled up with scams.
He is trying to crack down the welfare fraud that is active for years and it’s spending the money from the American taxpayers.
So far, the results are huge.
One example is the Muslim food stamp crime ring in Grand Rapids, Michigan that cost the American taxpayers $736,000 from EBT and $544,000 from WIC in only 9 years. However, they got arrested and got what they deserved for their frauds.
President Trump is focused on all welfare frauds which are showing up more often. The majority of welfare receivers can receive, aside from the cash support, housing subsidies, food stamps, and medical insurance. This is way better than an actual job, so they tend to stay and exploit the whole program.
Tanner and Hughes wrote: “The current welfare system provides such a high level of benefits that it acts as a disincentive for work. Welfare currently pays more than a minimum-wage job in 35 states, even after accounting for the Earned Income Tax Credit, which offers extra subsidies to low-income workers who take work. In 13 states [welfare] pays more than $15 per hour.”
So far, Trump’s move to encourage Congress to change this issue and act the new tax plan is quite successful. During Obama’s presidency, he worked as Bill Clinton which forced the people who can work, to find a job in exchange for food stamps. However, since Trump stepped into the office he is constantly trying to lower this food stamp participation.
Officials from Alabama explained that there is an 85 percent decrease in people who are applying for food stamps. Also, there are similar results in Georgia, with 58 percent decrease.
As reported: “In October 2014, LePage announced that able-bodied adults would have to find work, spend 20 hours per week in a work program, or perform community service for six hours a week. Food stamp participation declined 14.5 percent from 235,771 in January 2014 to 201,557 in January 2015.”
And 20 hours per week invested in a job is not hard at all. That means that they have to work around one hour per day. They need to be stopped to be referred as victims.
Kansas tried to implement work requirements back in 2013 and had a 75 percent decline. Also, “nearly 60 percent of former beneficiaries found employment within 12 months and their incomes rose by an average of 127 percent per year.”
Despite the fact these people are capable of working in order to earn finances to pull through the day, the left wants the total opposite. However, Trump won’t stay behind with his hands behind his back and watch as the country is getting ruined. He is determined to act and fix this issue.
